The flight would operate four days a week till May 31, 2012 and then on the 787 JAL would fly on a daily basis carrying passengers to and fro the continents across the Pacific. This is a landmark achievement from JAL as this would reduce considerable flying time to cities in Asia and otherwise. The flight would leave Boston’ Logan Airport at 13.20Hrs and would reach at 16:00Hrs the next day after flying an amazing 6,869-miles. From the other side the flight would depart from Tokyo’ Narita Airport at 11:30Hrs to reach Boston at 11:20Hrs the next day. Until 31st May the Dreamliner would operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The flights are operated by Japan airlines and they use the premium  Boeing 787 Dreamliner for this lengthy flight. According to JAL the flight uses most advanced technologies available. The Plane body is made of carbon fiber which makes it much lighter than the conventional air crafts while offering additional durability and strength. The interior is lit with LED and the lighting mood is conditioned to soothe the senses of the passengers so that they won’t feel the stress of long flight. The planes have extra large window to offer more relaxation while watching amazing scenery outside.
