FaceVision announced a high definition webcam which is optimized for Skype video calling, and they are working together with Skype to overcome all the current issues in HD video calling like laggy internet connection, insufficient CPU power etc. The new webcam which FaceVision named it as ”The FV TouchCam N1‘ can also provide HD videos with other IM like Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger.
The device is coming with dual microphones supporting beamforming techniques, an embedded H.264 codec chip and can offer superior voice quality and crystal clear 720P HD video. The device can be connected to PC using USB plug and a flexible universal base.
The device will be available in the market for a price tag of $129 by the end of January.
