I loved the idea a small notebook I could carry around to replace my pad of paper, but they all fell short in one area. Battery life. The latest 1000 series Asus netbooks fixed that shortcoming, claiming a 10.5 hour battery life. They way I use it, not much wifi or blue tooth, I'm getting close to that. I would guess that a steady diet of wireless would cut that to 6-7 hours, still long enough to last a day. The keyboard isn't quite full sized of course, but very easy to get used to. The screen is sharp and bright. It's fast enough for most non-graphics intensive applications, I'm running OpenOffice, Firefox / Thunderbird, Evernote, Paint.Net and a few other utilities with no issues. The track pad is so-so, for heavy use other than taking notes you'll want a mouse. I have a tiny Samsung mouse, works great. I'm enjoying it and would buy it again.
