Booklet 3G – The First Netbook From Nokia For $799

First net book from Nokia ‘Booklet 3G‘ with an outstanding design are yet to drop into buyers hand. The net book is using aluminium chasis instead of plastic to get a mirror like finishing. The 20mm thickness and 2.76 pounds and smooth round edges makes Booklet 3G a sleek and sexy look.The screen size of this device is about 10 inch with a pixel resolution of 1280×720. If you want a bigger display you can connect to larger display using HDMI port.Other than HDMI port there are three USB ports, a slot for SD cards, headphone/microphone jack. The Booklet 3G is coming with three attractive colors blue, black and white.

You may feel the difference from the keboard itself. The keyboard gives an excellent tactile feedback without over sensitive. The main feature of this netbook is in the battery. With 16 cells (which is most in available netbooks) this device can hold charge upto 12 hours. The batteries are removable and too small which blends perfectly into this netbook.

The Booklet 3G is coming with a 1 GB RAM, 120 GB hard disk drive and is running on Intels Atom Z530 1.6 GHz processor with Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7.

Nokia calls the Booklet as a ‘mini laptop’ rather than a net book. The device can easily access internet with HSPA( high speed packet accees) or 802.11n Wi-Fi.Nokia’s Ovi software helps easy synchronization between Nokia phones and netbook.

This first netbook from Nokia is coming with a price tag of $799 and $299 with a contract on AT&T.
