Samsung To Develop Google’s Next Nexus, Nexus Prime

Google’s Nexus is also an active member in the spicy rumors, and now it is heating up. The latest reports suggest that the successor of Nexus S will be manufactured by Samsung. The project is code named as Prime and according to BGR, the upcoming Nexus may be known as Nexus Prime.

The Nexus Prime will be the first device to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device is also expected to be coming with 1.5 GHz OMAP4460 CPU, Super AMOLED display, 1080p HD video recording and playback, 5 mega pixel rear camera, 1 mega pixel front facing camera for video chat, 1 GB of RAM etc.

As it is runs on Ice Cream Sandwich, we may expect the device by the end of this year.

Bloomberg Rumors A Faster iPhone, September Release And Much More

New rumors about the specifications and release date for the upcoming iPhone continue to fly fast and furious and the latest is from Bloomberg’s sources who are familiar with the product. According to them the upcoming iPhone will be coming with faster A5 processor for dual-core performance which they already used to power the second generation iPad. There is a bump in the camera too, instead of 5 megapixel camera which was there in the iPhone 4, they are using 8 mega pixel camera.

The source also reports that most probably the device will be planning a September release. There is a number of rumors floating around the releasing date, and the most of them points for a September release.

Bloomberg adds some details about the tablet side also. Apple is prepping a new iPad with a high resolution display as in iPhone 4.

Samsung Dart Aka Galaxy Mini To Hit T-Mobile Soon?

One more device from T-Mobile is going to hit the markets. This time a mid range Android smartphone from Samsung, named Samsung Dart aka Samsung T449 or Samsung Mini. The device already made its appearance over the web in a leaked roadmap from T-Mobile and is said to make its debut by the mid of June.

The specifications of the device are almost similar to the Galaxy Mini and it seems like that Samsung Dart is a T-Mobile version of Galaxy Mini.Samsung Dart features 240 x 320 screen, 600 MHz processor, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G bands, Android 2.2, 2 mega pixel camera without any flash, capacitive Android buttons etc.

As this is a mid range smartphone, the budget friendly device will be extremely affordable for the beginners and those who does not required an extreme multimedia experience in their handset.

There is no confirmed details about the releasing date for the device, however it is expected to hit markets on June 15. So lets wait up to that.

Verizon To Offer Xperia Play From May 26, Pre-Orders Starting From May 19

Happy news for gaming lovers, Verizon finally announced the launching date for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, first PlayStation-certified smartphone with a sliding gamepad. This Android powered gaming smartphone from Verizon will start shipping from May 26. You can pre order the device from May 19 itself. Verizon is offering it for $199.99 with contract.

You will get seven pre loaded games like Madden NFL 11 and The Sims 3 from EA, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior from Digital Legends, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and Star Battalion from Gameloft, Tetris and Crash Bandicoot from Sony. You can also select your favorite cup of tea from Android market.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is powered by 1 GHz Snapdragon with Adreno 205 GPU, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 5 mega pixel rear facing camera and also included a front facing camera for video chat. The front facing camera also offers some nice gaming experience.
