Diwali, the festival of light is also the festival of richness. It is the occassion of Lakshmi puja and Lakshmi Devi is considered the goddess of wealth. These festivals may be related to some seasons like rains, harvest, full moon etc. or may be related to religious occasions like birthdays of divine beings, gurus or saints.
