London: Roger Federer won the Wimbledon 2009 beating his opponent Andy Roddick. In a marathon game Roger Federer of spain beat Andy Roddick to become the first player to win 15 Grandslam tournaments. Pete Sampras were on the stands watching the dazzling Federer who broke a long standing record of 14 grandslams created by him. The five setter which lasted for over 4 hours were testing for both the player. But the champion had clear advantage through out the match.
